You're not too much.

You're not “too much.” You're just surrounded by the wrong people.

You're not too much. It's just that you weren't in the right place.

A letter to all women who have ever felt “too much” for this world

“You're too sensitive.”
“You're too intense.”
“You think too much.”
“You always want more.”

And little by little, we begin to believe that who we are is a problem.

When being yourself becomes a source of guilt

You may have heard it as a child, or in your first relationship, or among friends:
that you needed to calm down, adapt, be gentler, less emotional.
That you felt too much, talked too much, dreamed too much.

So you tried:
Make yourself small. Keep quiet. Adapt.
Smile even though everything inside you was screaming.
Swallow your tears. Suppress your desires.
Pretending to be fine.

But despite all your efforts, it was never enough.

You're not the problem.

It's the environment that prevents you from thriving.

Because not everyone is ready to welcome a woman who is fully herself.
A woman who feels intensely. Who is not easily satisfied. Who asks profound questions. Who does not betray herself to please others.

And no, that doesn't make you complicated.
It sets you free.

The problem isn't the way you are,
but the society that taught you to be ashamed of your power.
A culture that values women who are docile, self-sacrificing, and silent.
A world that fears a woman who shines without asking permission.

Your sensitivity is not a weakness. It is your superpower.

Feeling deeply is not a burden.
It is a guide.
Crying easily does not mean you are weak.
It purifies you.
Wanting more does not mean being ungrateful.
It is honoring your expansive nature.

Your body, your energy, your voice, your emotions, your contradictions...
Everything you thought you needed to fix is exactly what makes you beautiful.

Being yourself in a world that expects something else... is uncomfortable.

Sometimes, being true means being alone.
Sometimes it's disturbing.
Sometimes it's scary.

But there is something worse than this discomfort:
Living a life where you can never be yourself.

Because hiding from you is exhausting.
Restricting yourself is exhausting.
Denying yourself makes you sick.
And spending your life trying to fit into boxes that are too small... is like dying a slow death.

What you need is not to change.

It's about changing your surroundings.

People who celebrate your intensity instead of fearing it.
Places where you can exist without apologizing.
Relationships where your “too much” is not a threat, but a treasure.

You don't have to hide. You have to choose differently.
Surround yourself with those who don't want to extinguish your fire, but rather warm themselves by it with you.

To you, who have ever felt “too much”...

Today, I want to tell you this:

  • You are not a manufacturing defect.
  • You're not complicated.
  • You're not broken.
  • You don't have to dim your light to reassure others.
  • You didn't come here to fit into boxes. You came here to expand.

And those who are bothered by your intensity... can simply walk away.
You don't need to be understood by everyone.
You are here to remember who you are, honor yourself fully, and reclaim your place.

What now?

  1. Observe: in what situations do you make yourself small in order to please others?
  2. Write: What parts of yourself do you hide for fear of being rejected?
  3. Decide: will you continue to remain silent... or will you finally choose yourself?
